Founders run the original marathon course

Niki! Sound Body Sound Mind officially reached 100 schools! The foundation has provided thousands of students with the resources and opportunity to live healthy and balanced lifestyles. In celebration of this phenomenal accomplishment, the founders of Sound Body Sound Mind, Bill and Cindy Simon, will attempt another feat - running the original marathon course in Greece, on November 13, 2011.

Legend has it that, when the battle against the Persian Army was won in 490 B.C., the Athenian messenger Pheidippides was dispatched to Athens, carrying news of the stunning victory. Upon his arrival he delivered the momentous message "Niki!" (meaning "victory").
